1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Japan Convoy (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to buyers, sellers, and visitors.
2. About Japan Convoy
Japan Convoy is a business-to-business (B2B) wholesale marketplace that connects international buyers with Japanese export sellers. Buyers and sellers negotiate directly through in-platform messaging and requests for quotation (RFQs). There is no on-site checkout or payment processing — pricing is wholesale and arranged between the parties.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be a business or an individual acting in a business capacity, and provide accurate, current information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Seller Listings & Unclaimed Businesses
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of their listings. Some listings are for businesses that have not yet joined Japan Convoy and are clearly marked as "Unclaimed"; for these, we facilitate introductions on request. Verified badges indicate sellers that have completed our checks. Prohibited, counterfeit, or illegal items are not permitted.
5. Buyer Conduct
Buyers may browse listings, post buyer requests, save items, and contact sellers. You agree to use the Platform in good faith and not to misrepresent your intentions or harass other users.
6. Fulfillment Services
After a deal is agreed, either party may optionally request Japan Convoy to broker fulfillment — including quote assembly, inspection, packaging, customs coordination, and shipping — for a fee quoted on a case-by-case basis. Use of fulfillment services is optional and separate from buyer–seller negotiation.
7. Fees
Buyer registration and browsing are free. Any fulfillment or brokerage fees are disclosed and agreed in advance before work begins. We do not collect payment for the underlying goods, which is arranged directly between buyer and seller.
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Platform to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, post false or misleading listings, transmit malware, scrape data without permission, or circumvent security or access controls.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform, its content, and its trademarks are owned by Japan Convoy or its licensors. Listing content remains the responsibility of the submitting seller. You may not copy or reuse Platform content without permission.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Japan Convoy is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers and is not responsible for the conduct, listings, or goods of any user. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Japan Convoy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Japan Convoy harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your listings or requests, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for other users. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the courts located in Tokyo, Japan.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
